February giveaway - All about the wine!

Hello my pretties!

It's February and since it's February and because I kinda felt like it, I'm hosting another giveaway. I luuuurve this giveaway and firmly believe that you should all agree that I have amazing taste. 'Cuz it's true.

Up for the giving is a beautiful 3-piece wine set, hand-painted by the lovely Chelsey Hill from Pretty My Drink. This set is worth $60. Exact description is taken from her Etsy shop:

This 3 pc. set includes a stunning wine decanter with a tear drop structure and two matching stemless wine glasses. Each item includes my popular design that contains two black birds resting on a cherry blossom, so in love. The branches wind their way around each item and are painted in a shimmery copper color that glistens in the light. The wine decanter has a hole sculpted in the center of the glass that nicely compliments the design. This set makes the perfect gift for a special couple!

More of my work can be found here:
http://www.prettymydrink.etsy.com

The paint is non-toxic and has been heat set for durability. Although the paint is dishwasher safe when placed on the top rack, I recommend hand washing to help preserve their beauty

And of course, the pics because all of us are concerned with looks, right??

Now, for the rules. I'm going to allow three ways to enter for this particular giveaway. You can do all three for three separate entries but let me know in the comments.

1) Leave a comment on the blog about your favorite book character. Who is it? What book are they from and why do you love them so much?

2) Join up on the blog. Whether you choose Google Friend Connect, Networked Blogs or just subscribing by email let me know in the comments that you did and what your email addy is.

3) Like our Facebook page! And if you've already done so, let me know who you are!

The giveaway is open now and will close in a week from now...10:10 p.m., CST on March 2nd, 2012. At the end of the giveaway, I will compile all of the entries and do a random drawing. Shipping will come directly from Pretty My Drink.

Please leave your email address when you comment so I have a way to contact you. If I cannot contact the winner within 5 days after the giveaway ends, I will draw again and offer the prize to someone else. U.S. and Canada only, please. Happy reading and glorious wine drinking!!

Gosh, these are beautiful! Thank you :) one of my favorite characters is Lennie from The Sky is Everywhere. I like her because she seems more real to me than a lot of characters. She has her flaws and makes mistakes, but is good at heart.

It's hard for me to pick an absolute favorite character because I have so many, but one of my favorites is Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series. She's so unique, quirky, fun, loyal, brave, and a good friend even when others may make fun of her for it, she's proud to be who she is.

P.S. The HP series is one that I absolutely *must* eat while reading. For example, in HP and the Half Blood Prince, I have to eat dried pineapple while reading it because they talk about a character eating it, and it always ends up making me hungry for it, so I keep it on hand for when the craving strikes ;)

My favorite character would have to be from a book I recently just finished reading. It's Tibby from Sisterhood Everlasting. She is my favorite character because her death brings back the 3 other friends that she was close with and makes them remember what life is all about and how if you have each other no matter where each one lives they will be there for you.

My favorite book character is probably Bradley Chalkers from "There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom."
He's just a boy who has to repeat the fifth grade because he doesn't do his work. He really is smart, but just doesn't learn the way others do, and has a hard time.
It's a children's book, so it's a quick read, and I definitely recommend it to everyone! :)

I know it's a tween book and I wish I had read it when I was 12/13 years old, but Stargirl - Jerry Spinelli has to be one of my favourite characters by far! She's just such a free spirit and doesn't care what anyone thinks about her spirituality and hippie-ish ways. The character is so passionate about living! She's adorable, awe-inspiring.
